Beyond Work
In the spaces beyond my professional life, I find solace and inspiration.
The Stage
Being part of Toastmasters has been a transformative journey. It’s not just about honing public speaking skills; it’s about the thrill of storytelling and the connection with an audience. The energy in the room when a story resonates is unmatched, and it’s these moments that remind me of the power of words. Mentoring others in this craft is a joy, as I witness their growth and confidence bloom.
Each meeting is a new opportunity to engage, to listen, and to share. It’s a community where every voice matters, and every story has a place. This is where I find my voice, and where I help others find theirs.
The Court
Volleyball has been a constant in my life, a sport that taught me the rhythm of teamwork and the discipline of practice. From playing through university to captaining the women’s team, each game is a dance of strategy and instinct. The court is where I feel alive, where the intensity of the game pushes me to be my best.
It’s not just about winning; it’s about the camaraderie, the shared goals, and the lessons learned in both victory and defeat. Volleyball is my escape, a place where I can be present, focused, and free.
The Canvas
In the quiet embrace of my studio, painting becomes a sanctuary where time seems to pause. It’s a space free from expectations, where each brushstroke is an exploration of color and emotion.
Here, I find a gentle balance to the structured demands of my professional life. The canvas invites me to play, to experiment without boundaries, and to express without the need for perfection.
This intimate relationship with art is a reminder that creativity is a journey, not a destination, offering solace and joy in its purest form.
