360 HR Dashboard

As part of my ongoing Master’s in Human Resources, we had the opportunity to consult for the Tabacalera Group, a world leader in premium cigars.

Our mission was to help the HR team transform distributed data into a clear, strategic decision-making tool.
Through user interviews we conducted, one insight stood out clearly – the dashboard needed to support the entire talent lifecycle, not just isolated metrics.
We anchored the design around this journey to ensure it addressed business needs at every stage:
– Attract & Onboard: Attracting the right candidates and measuring how quickly new hires can contribute
– Develop: Linking learning initiatives to future-critical skills and tracking their usefulness on the job
– Engage & Retain: Strengthening manager effectiveness and identifying early signals of turnover risk
– Offboard: Capturing exit insights and preserving critical heritage knowledge

To balance ambition with practicality, we benchmarked against HR dashboards used by global leaders and proposed a scalable framework:
– Unified KPI System: One source of truth across HR pillars
– Two-Tier Visibility: Strategic insights for executives, deeper diagnostics for HR teams
– Data Governance: Ensuring consistency, reliability, and trust in data
– Predictive Roadmap: A future path toward AI-enabled workforce planning

While this was a strategic proposal, it reinforced a core truth for me:
Any data is only valuable when it enables better decision making.
